Proof

This picture right here:

is proof that our sweet little girl is hitting the terrible twos a little early. She may have a bit of an attitude.

Last night I wanted to take a picture of her with the bells that she put around her head. I told her to look at me and smile, this is what I got:

I then kindly requested that she take her fingers out of her mouth and smile. As soon as she took her fingers out of her mouth, I snapped the picture assuming that she was going to smile. Instead, I got the eye roll that has made itself present the last few weeks.  It is usually accompanied by a huge sigh....too bad I couldn't capture that in a picture. Our little girl is growing up fast....a little too fast for me.

Addy 18 Months (a little late)

Addy is getting so big and learning so much. I just want to jot down a few things about her at this age so I don't forget.

Favorite Foods:

• Mac and cheese
• Shredded cheese
•  Peas and Beans
• Any fruit
• MARSHMALLOWS

Words she can't quite figure out how to say:

• Treat:   "cheep"
• Phone:   "ho"
• Blueberries:   "boo-boo"
• Milk:   "kkkkkkkkk"
• Water:   "wa"
• Swing:   "wing"
• Sun: "yun"
• Monkey:   "ha-ha"
• Snowman:   "no-na"
• Cracker:  "Ca-ca" (this also means poop, so we have to be careful with it)

Favorite Words:

• Whoa
• Mama, Mommy, Mom (repeated 10 times in 5 seconds)
• Da, Toph, Daddy
• Owie
• Baby

Favorite things to do:

• Sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Popcorn Popping
• Dip whatever she has on her plate in ranch or ketchup (fruit included)
• Take care of her babies
• Run around the house with dad
• Skype with family members, especially Mooch
• Unload the dishwasher whether it be clean or dirty
• Cook with mom

Least favorite things to do:

• Hold still
• Get her hair done
• Get dressed and stay dressed

We love this little girl more than anything.

Sunny St George

There was no way that we were not going to take advantage of the gorgeous St George weather on Saturday, so we packed a picnic and fishing poles and headed out. 

Addy did not have much interest in eating because there were ducks that needed to be fed.

While we were getting ready, Toph kept telling me that I was putting too many layers on Addy and myself. I just couldn't get over that fact that it was still February and February it is not supposed to be that warm. I don't think Toph reads this blog too often so I will admit that he was right. Addy kept telling me she was hot and tried taking her shirts off a few times.

I know I am going to have to remember these fun warm days in a few months when it is just way too hot for any sane person to go outside without any plans of playing in water.  

Equation

I really do not like math. Crunching numbers is not my thing, so I came up with an equation that pretty much sums up my life right now without using any numbers....
